PATIENTS CONTINUE TO RECOGNIZE THE QUALITY OF ORALMED CLINICS

OralMED Satisfaction Index Remains at 95% for the 2nd Consecutive Semester



For the second semester in a row, thousands of patients have acknowledged the high-quality services provided by OralMED Dental Medicine clinics. Over 95% of patients who visited the clinics between January and June this year expressed satisfaction with the services. This data comes from the latest OralMED Satisfaction Index. It's excellent news for the Oral Health professionals who work tirelessly across more than 60 clinics of the OralMED SAÚDE Group, dedicated to restoring smiles to an ever-growing number of Portuguese citizens.


 

Over 95% Satisfaction: Vast Majority of Patients Highly Satisfied

Out of more than 8,400 evaluations collected, 12.9% of patients reported being satisfied, while an overwhelming majority of 82.5% declared themselves very satisfied with their experience at OralMED clinics. This clearly demonstrates the high quality standards of services provided by these Dental Medicine units, which not only strive to offer the best care and services to all their patients but also actively work to educate the public about the importance of Oral Health.


Pursuing Excellence Through Continuous Improvement

Recognizing that the path to excellence involves focusing on areas for growth, the OralMED Satisfaction Index serves not only to measure positive aspects but primarily to identify opportunities for service optimization and enhancement.


Less than 1.5% of patients reported that their clinic experience fell short of their expectations. This percentage has decreased compared to the same period in 2020, thanks to strategies implemented to address challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Notably, there continue to be no cases of dissatisfaction related to treatments or clinical procedures.


Quality Assurance: The OralMED Satisfaction Index

The Satisfaction Index is managed by the OralMED Quality Barometer. It stems from internal audit processes that regularly monitor services provided across the now more than 60 clinics owned by the OralMED Saúde Group. Through this process, patients are consulted to continuously improve all aspects of their clinical care: from initial contact and reception, through the service provided in the medical office, to follow-up support after treatment completion.


This audit generates monthly and annual reports that trigger internal mechanisms for optimization and problem-solving, enabling the address of any existing gaps in service.
