Continuous investment in employee training remains a top priority for the Group
On May 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, a comprehensive General Purchasing Procedures Training was held in Vila Nova de Gaia and Loures, respectively. Expertly led by Rita Pereira and Mónica Lourenço, this pivotal event brought together approximately 100 assistants representing various clinics within the Group. This training opportunity was instrumental in further empowering our employees, fostering greater autonomy in the purchasing procedures of each unit - an essential element for the continuous enhancement of our services.
The primary objective of the training was to standardize purchasing processes, enabling more efficient and uniform management across the Group. During the three days of intensive learning, participants deepened their knowledge and acquired new skills that will ensure greater precision and effectiveness in their daily responsibilities.
"This training was crucial in terms of standardizing procedures. It was the realization of something we had long anticipated in the Group - having a person specialized in Purchasing at each Clinic. This significantly streamlines communication, as we always know exactly who to address. Ultimately, the main goal is to foster teamwork: to function as a single, unified Team, rather than the Clinic being one team and us another," explains Rita Pereira, Head of the Group's Purchasing Department.
Beyond empowering assistants, this training played a vital role in promoting collaborative work among teams from different Group clinics. The exchange of experiences and knowledge among participants strengthened professional bonds and created an even more robust network of mutual support. This spirit of cooperation is essential for the Group to function cohesively and efficiently, regardless of the geographical locations of our clinics.
